
Andrew Gormley
Principal Consultant
Andrew has over 25+ years of professional experience at growth oriented private equity backed companies and leading global investment banks. Prior to Carperium, Andrew was the SVP for Strategic Finance at Certara, Inc. [CERT], a $3.5 billion Nasdaq listed leader in biosimulation. At Certara, Andrew established and scaled the Financial Planning & Analysis, Data Analytics and Investor Relations functions, and served as the Chief Operating Officer for the Regulatory Division. Andrew was a member of the core deal team who architected and led the sale of Certara in 2017 by Arsenal Capital to EQT Partners for $850 million and the initial public offering (“IPO”) of Certara in 2020 that raised $769 million.

Before Certara, Andrew worked for Apollo and Tiger Global backed companies implementing buy and build strategies. Andrew also worked for global investment banks, notably Deutsche Bank and Bank of America, where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions ("M&A") advisory, and executed over 40 domestic and cross-border M&A transactions with an aggregate value of over $9 billion.
Andrew holds an MBA from Columbia Business School (Beta Gamma Sigma) and a BA in Economics from Vanderbilt University (cum laude).

Eliza Holcomb
Principal Consultant
Eliza is a distinguished leader in human resources with unique experience in Education and Entertainment. Eliza is the CEO of Stepup HC, a boutique human capital and talent management consulting firm. Prior to founding Stepup HC, Eliza was the Chief Human Resources Officer for the North American division of GEMS Education, the world’s leading provider of private K-12 education with 70 schools in 14 countries and a staff of 14,000 educators.

Earlier in her career, Eliza launched an entrepreneurial partnership with the Connecticut Association for Boards of Education (CABE), and she served as Lead Superintendent Search Consultant, recruiting superintendents and other key administrators for urban and suburban schools throughout the state of Connecticut. From 2008-2009, Eliza served as President of the National Association of Superintendent Searchers.

Eliza’s passion for human capital began at CBS, Inc., where she started out as a recruiter. Quickly moving up the ranks, Eliza joined Universal Studios as Employment Manager at MCA/Universal City Studios and was eventually appointed Chief of Human Resources for the opening of Universal’s Orlando, Florida theme park.

A lifelong skilled communicator, Eliza received a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Southern California.
